The Company

Survey Intelligence was founded in 2018 by a team of geoscientists with many years of experience in modelling and monitoring the subface of the earth for the energy sector. We saw the enormous potential of combining satellite data with seismic data to understand and forecast ground deformation. In 2019 Survey Intelligence has been accepted to participate in two prestigious business incubator programs: the European Space Agency (ESA BIC) and Copernicus, a program from European Union to stimulate the use of Copernicus satellite data. We are also receiving support from the Rabobank Innovation Fund for the application of our technology in the field of renewable energy.

The Team

Our team is a group of scientists from the fields of geology, geophysics, radar imaging, physics, statistics and computer sciences. We are a combination of experienced and young professionals, all eager to question the status-quo and approach data from a different angle. At Survey Intelligence we believe that there is no such a thing as impossible: we aim to make the impossible possible. We value curiosity and imagination; we favour initiative and creativity.

Reda Meftahi

Reda Meftahi

Director

Reda is an innovative geoscientist who is responsible for product development. Due to his 25+ years’ experience in the energy sector worldwide working for majors, contractors and start-ups he understands the industry from every angle. Reda is a real pioneer: he loves challenges and new experiences. He has been involved as an entrepreneur in several spin-offs from leading technical universities to develop cutting-edge technology. As a trained geologist, Reda specialised in structural geology and obtained a second MSc in geophysics. He has extensive knowledge of ground deformation that he collected throughout his experience in structural fault systems, passive micro-seismicity and seismic processing.

Maud van Ees

Maud van Ees

Director

Maud is an organisational talent managing Survey Intelligence’s operational responsibilities, while pursuing its strategic results. She obtained an MSc in Business Administration at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and an international business degree at the Bocconi University in Milan. Maud started her career working for one of the world’s largest information providers to financial institutions. In her previous roles Maud focused on superior B2B customer experience and driving business change. Having worked in eight different countries within Europe and the Middle East, Maud has a broad international network and loves working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
